Hospitality sector raises concerns over end of JobKeeper

Australian chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan says the government needs to do more to help support the struggling hospitality sector. With the JobKeeper program now at an end, Mr Mangan wants permanent tax reforms for small businesses to help restaurants and cafes get through the quieter autumn and winter seasons. He describes the current tax framework for small business as "insidious" and says the hospitality industry will struggle unless some taxes, such as the payroll tax and fringe benefits tax, are removed.
