Revolutionising hospital food
Dear friends,
I am incredibly proud to have partnered with Mater Private Hospital in Brisbane to bring healthy, restaurant-quality food to patients. Building on Mater’s shift to room service model in 2013, the menu I’ve designed for the hospital is the next step in increasing the nutritional intake of patients.
I worked with the team at Mater Private Hospital to create a dietician-approved menu that caters to different dietary requirements, provides the required nutrients for recovery, as well as an extra touch of comfort to patients during their stay.
Some of the dishes on the new menu include Middle Eastern lamb with pomegranate tabouleh and balsamic, and poached berries with lemon mascarpone.
Mater’s Food Services team are at the forefront of food innovation in healthcare across Australia, redefining the way we look at food in hospital and I’ve loved seeing this menu come to life for the patients, who appreciate it most. See more about my partnership with Mater.
